ORIGINAL MATERIAL

ORIGINAL MATERIAL

ZONE 1 - OFFSHORE

Material collected close to shore.
ZONE 3 - WATERWAY
Material found in waterways, such as streams or rivers.
ZONE 4 - COASTAL
Material collected from beaches and coastlines.
ZONE 5 - OCEAN-BOUND
Material collected from within 50km of the shoreline. Catchment area can include beach and landfill-bound plastic, however is considered a prominent source of marine debris.
ZONE 6 - DIVERTED
Material collected from more than 50km from the shoreline.
POST CONSUMER
Material derived from an end-of-life product that has already passed through to the consumer.

Waste materials created during the manufacturing process (also known as 'Pre Consumer').
